SPANISH-ENGLISHÂ TRANSLATION
I offer translation of Spanish texts into English. In addition to my training in literary translation, I’ve also translated personal documents, resumes, website content and user interfaces, financial documents, and promotional material. I use industry-standard translation software, Trados to help ensure consistency and efficiency. Rates are from US$ 0.08 – 0.10 per word, depending on complexity and deadline.

EDITING
I specialize in nonfiction and research documents, with an emphasis on clarity of text and organization. I offer editing for everything from short articles to full books. I take care to respect the author’s voice and vision. My job is to ensure that your work communicates as effectively as possible but that it remains your work. All editing work includes meticulous proofreading. Rates are from US$ 30-45 per hour.

OTHER SERVICES
Proofreading: For those that are happy with the content and structure of their document, I offer proofreading. Proofreading includes checks for spelling, grammar and punctuation errors, and consistency of style. Rates are from US$ 30-40 per hour.
Manuscript Preparation & Layout: I can prepare your manuscript for publication using Adobe InDesign. I will beautifully lay out your text and place images, then save your document for web, print publication or ebook. - Or all three! Rates vary. I’m more than happy to provide you with a free quote.
